Hip Forage
Hip Forage or Core Decompression is a procedure which can be performed to decompress the head of the femur in a condition known as avascular necrosis. In avascular necrosis the blood supply to the femoral head can be compromised and if caught early a core decompression may be able to save the femoral head from collapse. Ian has significant experience in performing this procedure with good success rates as long as the decompression is performed early.
